Offecct Membrane

This is a bespoke soundproofing membrane designed, designed by David Trubridge, to be used as an acoustic room divider. The divider is made up of smaller acoustic panels that let through light whilst filtering out sound. Part of the ambitious acoustic control line, it can be used to semi-divide spaces or to be placed against a wall in order to dampen sound.

From an architectonic point of view, the membrane has interesting properties when lighting is added, creating interesting layers of shadows. The membrane is designed to have the capability of being assembled into multiple layouts and patterns, making it quite diverse in its appearance in addition to being able to control the soundproofing qualities of the material.

Offecct Notes

The Offecct Notes collection contains five different shapes and sizes that can be dressed in fabric to suit your aesthetic requirements. Notes are hung from a discreet rail that is attached to the ceiling. Each note can slide back and forth across the rail giving you the flexibility to control openings and room layout without modifying a buildings structure.

Designer Luca Nichetto was inspired by the noise reducing properties of clothes hung over lines and decided to transfer the concept into an industrial product.

Soundwave® Ando

Designed to trick the eye into believing it is a solid concrete block, Soundwave® Ando is a sound absorbing material made from a combination of recycled textile. The material allows voice intelligibility to be greatly improved by reducing disturbing background noises. The panel is perfect for reducing reverberation time in a room and has extended efficiency in the low frequency range of 150 Hz - 500Hz.

Soundwave® Bella

This acoustic panel was designed by the Danish architectural office 3XN for the Bella Sky Hotel in Copenhagen. The lightweight sound absorber is best used for upper frequency ranges of 500 Hz and above and reduces disturbing reflections of environmental sounds such as voices and phones. When covering an entire wall its angular surface provides a unique modern look and the panels are available in a range of colours to create distinguishable looks across multiple surfaces.

Soundwave® Botanic

This lightweight sound absorber was created by Spanish designer Mario Ruiz and is ideal for the upper frequency range of 500 Hz and above. Inspired by the tree branches of the forests of Scandinavia this recyclable moulded polyester fibre sound absorber has different looks when it is placed horizontally or vertically.

Soundwave® Flo

This unique sound absorption solution, designed by Karim Rashid, was inspired by sound waves and digital data. The sound proofing panels can be aligned to provide a continuous flow across the room or they can be twisted to break the pattern. Horizontally the panels convey a sense of water and vertically they can be likened to light waves.

Soundwave ® Geo

The well-known furniture designer Ineke Hans has combined functionality and practicality in his design of this decorative and unique sound absorption solution. The three dimensional geometric pattern, combines traditional and modern design. It can be used in large quantities in big spaces, without making the room too cluttered, reducing disturbing environmental sound waves.

Soundwave ® Luna

Designed by Teppo Asikainen the Luna acoustic panel absorbs sound in the lower frequencies. It reduces sound bouncing around in a room, limiting disturbing background noise, improving voice intelligibility.

Designer Teppo Asikainen took inspiration from creased paper for the pattern for Scrunch. It not only provides the panels with a great appearance, but absorbs and reflects sound, perfect for creating the best sound, acoustics and atmosphere for areas where people can interact.

The sound absorbing effect of Soundwave can be varied depending on how the panel is mounted. Soundwave was designed by Marre Moerel who was inspired by the silhouette of cities, particularly New York. If the panels are placed vertically they reflect the sound back and forth. Placed horizontally it absorbs the sound.

Soundwave® Village

Designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune, Village is an acoustic panel. Used individually or combined to form a wall, all panels absorb weak sounds in the upper frequencies 500 Hz and above. They can be used to improve sound levels in settings such as restaurants and also eliminate disturbing reflected sound from voices in offices, telephone conversations and computers.
